Grange Primary School

We are a primary school of about 300 pupils serving the community of Owton Manor in Hartlepool.

Over the last year pupils and staff have further developed their skills in film making and reporting. We have had a really successful year in raising standards of achievement at the end of key stage 2. Well done to  our year 6 leavers in July - we are very proud of you.

We now have a huge library of  news programmes and reports about life in the school and the things we have been learning about in our studies over the year  for you to enjoy. We are all very proud of all the pupils and staff who have worked in media over the year. look out for our animations and reports about topics and visits to support our studies.

The pupils who gave a presentation to the Tees side Healthy Schools Panel made a fantastic report about how we share information about  how to stay healthy. We were very proud when we attended the awards ceremony at MIMA in Middlebrow and discovered that we were the winning school across Hartlepool.

Well done to our GPTV this year . One of the new skills we all enjoyed learning about was stop frame animation  - our Year 6 classes produced a brilliant film telling the story of the Nativity , Other pupils been very creative writing advertisements - their products were great and the commercials they produced even better.
